Course Overview
Overview
Build the skills and knowledge you need to work in a variety of roles within sports turf management, advancing your opportunities to become an apprentice in the field.
This course will develop your skills in machinery operation, turf renovation, turf establishment, plant and weed identification, soils and plant nutrition, pests and diseases, management, construction of turf surfaces and occupational health and safety.

6-12 months
Requirements
You must be employed as a trainee in industry to commence this course.
Assessment
The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. These assessments are undertaken in the workplace and on-campus, involving assessment of your practical work and the theory involved.
