This course is a pathway, providing the learning and skills for students to apply to become a registered\/licensed builder. Upon receiving registration, you'll be qualified to undertake roles such as foreman, site supervisor or site manager. This is a great steppingstone to gaining your builder's licence!

The course focuses upon the use of hand tools to produce set projects designed to incorporate different learning processes. Topics include: using and maintaining hand tools, safe use of portable power tools, basic woodworking skills, basic timber joints and more. Each student will build a set project(s).
