Course Overview
Overview
This course is a pathway, providing the learning and skills for students to apply to become a registered/licensed builder. Upon receiving registration, you'll be qualified to undertake roles such as foreman, site supervisor or site manager. You'll gain knowledge in all aspects of building and construction, including (but not limited to) creating and interpreting plans, labour and material schedules, contracts, site management, structural principles, and legal requirements. This is a great steppingstone to gaining your builder's licence!

Duration
PART-TIME: 12 MONTHS
Requirements
None, however we recommend that you have some relevant industry knowledge.
Assessment
Assessment is done both on-campus and online. The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. A range of assessment strategies to meet different student's needs will be selected.
