Course Overview
Overview
This course is available only to those undertaking Motorsports Training Australia's Certificate IV in Motorsport Technology AUR40320 and is run alongside it and aimed at automotive technicians who want to specialise in the retail aftermarket, or high-performance road car industry. This course is a perfect companion to the Certificate IV in Motorsport with which it is co-delivered, and you'll learn the further technical ins and outs of getting the most out of your equipment and therefore, the cars.
Duration
FULL-TIME: 12 MONTHS
Requirements
Certificate III Motor Sport Qualification (AUR30920 – Certificate III in Motorsport Technology)
Field Placement
Opportunities for work placement with race teams in various categories.
Assessment
The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. A range of assessment strategies to meet different student's needs will be selected, including reports, essays, tests, practical assessments of your abilities, placement assessments and demonstrations.
