Course Overview
Overview
Working in the allied health industry means you'll be part of a team focused on holistic care. This qualification will provide you with the skills to support allied health professionals, (e.g. physiotherapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists) in their private practices or healthcare facilities including services in the aged care and disability sector. You will learn about the medical aspects of health, as well as how people function and how you can help them maintain independence. As a valued member of a multidisciplinary allied health team, you can make a real difference to people's lives. This course also includes industry visits and compulsory placement, so you'll gain real-world practical experience. Upon successful graduation, you'll be on your way to a fulfilling career providing therapeutic and program related support.
