Essential 2D CAD

Overview

Learn the basics of computer-aided design (CAD) using Autodesk® AutoCAD® software. For those in the industry or hobbyists, you'll engage in a mix of theoretical and practical classroom sessions. You will work towards producing two-dimensional sketch plans and working drawings which include line work, dimensions, and notations that are plotted (printed) to drawing sheets at various scales. You'll gain the foundation skills of drafting electronically!

Nights - 6 sessions (3 hours each) OR 2 Days

There are no entry requirements for this course. Please make sure you bring along a USB, pen and notebook.

You will be assessed on your theoretical and practical knowledge, understanding and skills.

• Printing sheets Note: This short course is an introduction to the most frequently used tools and functions of the AutoCAD software. It does not cover highly specialised design drawings.

By successfully completing this course, participants will receive an Wodonga TAFE Accredited Certificate.
