Overview
All trailerable equipment requires skill and knowledge to tow and manoeuvre safely. Our Safe Towing Program is specifically designed to teach the key basic skills needed for safe towing and caters to all experience levels.
You will learn about the risks associated with towable equipment, how to properly prepare for towing, gain hands-on practice experience in manoeuvring the equipment and how to load your trailer & attach it to your vehicle, identify the compliance plate, and understand the GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) to ensure safe towing.
Students MUST provide their own vehicle and trailer (caravan or whatever they intend to tow).
Duration
1 session
Requirements
- Hold a current Australian Car Licence.
- Students MUST supply your own vehicle, caravan or whatever they intend towing, which must be safe, roadworthy, insured and registered.
