Course Overview
Overview
If you've ever had a desire to learn basic welding skills, then this is the course for you! This Welding 101 course will run for 6 weeks, with the first four weeks introducing you to manual metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding (MIG), gas tungsten arc welding (TIG) and oxy cutting. The final two classes allow for you to choose one or two welding methods that you wish to work on further, allowing you to improve your ability in the welds that you'll desire. This course is perfect for anyone looking to make small repairs around the farm or complete DIY projects.

Requirements
- Students must be 16 years of age or older.
- Students must provide their own workshop clothing that is up to safety standards, i.e. cotton drill long sleeve shirt and trousers or overalls and leather boots.
