Course Overview
Overview
The face-to-face Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training is required for all liquor licensees and bar staff, and those involved in the serving, selling and supply of alcohol in Victoria. This program gives you the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to a safe, enjoyable environment in licensed premises. Topics covered include: problems associated with excessive consumption, alcohol and the law, responsibility, alcohol facts, improving premises for RSA purposes, and handling difficult customers.

Requirements
- You MUST present photo identification to the teacher on the session day to prove identity
- You can be between 16 and 17 years old to complete the training, however a Victorian RSA Certificate wont be issued until turning 18 years old
- You must be 18 years of age or over to obtain a Victorian RSA Certificate
- If you have your own laptop please bring that along
- Please bring a pen/writing materials to the course.
- 2 Assessments must take place during the on-campus session, both assessments require Satisfactory results prior to a Victorian RSA Certificate being issued. You will have 3 attempts of each assessment to achieve a satisfactory result. Non satisfactory result after 3 attempts of either assessment will result in a student being required to reenrol and undertake the training and assessments again.
Assessment
2 Assessments must take place during the on-campus session, both assessments require Satisfactory results prior to a Victorian RSA Certificate being issued
The student has 30 days from date of delivered session to complete the assessments satisfactorily, and is only allowed 3 attempts of each assessment.
Non satisfactory result after 3 attempts of either assessment will result in a student being required to reenrol and undertake the training and assessments again.
